Boston Jet Physics Workshop 2014

The second Boston Jets Physics Workshop will be held from January 21-23, 2014 (Tuesday through Thursday), in room 32-141 (Stata Center) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

This workshop will focus on maximizing the potential of newer, more sophisticated treatments of jets in collider physics that have emerged over the past several years. Of particular interest will be bringing physicists of various communities together to understand what experimental and theoretical uncertainties need to be brought under control, and what under-explored opportunities are present for jet physics.

A detailed description of the list of topics for the workshop can be found on the Agenda page.  We anticipate talks by experimentalists and theorists addressing issues in jet physics including (but not limited to) Higgs/BSM physics with jets, pile-up mitigation, and recent developments in (non-)perturbative QCD.

This workshop is open to the public and we are aiming for no more than 60 participants.  Registration for the workshop is now open.  Please register on the Registration page.
